Emerge is proud to announce that April Sterling, our Director of Customer Experience, has been selected for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2027.
Leadership Northern Kentucky (NKY) is a 10-month, community-based leadership program that brings together professionals from business, government, nonprofit, and other sectors. Now in its 45th year, the program immerses class members directly in the issues shaping the NKY Metro and Greater Cincinnati region, from economic development to community health, equipping them with the skills to make a lasting, positive impact.
April joins 52 leaders in this year’s class. In her role at Emerge, she channels her passion for helping others into building exceptional experiences for customers and employees alike, and she’s known for inspiring teams and driving meaningful results across every organization she’s been part of.
Leadership NKY accepts a limited number of members each year from a pool that consistently outnumbers available seats many times over, so April’s selection reflects the kind of leadership and community commitment Emerge values in its team.
“We’re so proud of April,” says Clark Earick, our Chief Operating Officer and a Leadership NKY graduate himself. “She brings the same energy and service ethic to this program that she brings to our customers every day, and that’s exactly the kind of person Leadership NKY looks for. This program meaningfully shaped how I think about our region and my role in it, and I know April will benefit just as much from it.”
“I’m honored to be part of a class that brings together so many different perspectives from across our region,” April says. “I’m looking forward to learning alongside other leaders who care as much about Northern Kentucky’s future as I do and bringing what I learn back to the Emerge team and our customers.”
